[Resolved] Airtel — Asking for airtel broadband installation payment charges at the time of closing connection which was already paid | |||
Hi Team, Today I got call from lawyer (Delhi Court) for legal notice regarding not making payment of Rs 1725 for airtel broadband account: [protected]. I have made this payment to avoid any legal activities for now and below are the details: Receipt No: [protected] Airtel Store: Sahara Mall, Gurgaon But don't know how this amount is pending, As per below e mail I have requested for disconnection and the pending amount was 1000 rs as installation charges which was also paid at the time of taking connection by your Airtel agent who has provided airtel broadband connection in Wakad, Pune(Maharashtra-411057). I have given him Rs[protected]installation fees+ 100-Bank DD charges) in cash. Airtel Agent Name: Prakash( [protected]) Wakad-Pune You are troubling your customer without any reason. Below is the justification for what went on so far. I have also made payment for last Month (October-2015) bill -740 rs. Then from where this 1725 rs came as balance. I agree, that I got several calls regarding payment but I asked them for justification for the balance, they never gave any justification for the pending amount and just forcing to pay, even I had provided Airtel Agent's contact details for the clarification of the pending amount. As per your team they are saying that the cheque, submitted by your airtel agent Prakash got bounced. I am not able to understand, after using airtel connection for 5-6 month, you payment cheque for installation got bounced. If the payment was not successfully made then how connection got activated and at the time of closing connection you are saying your installation payment cheque got bounce.. very strange!!! In this case, where is my fault. I have submitted 1100 rs and my connection got activated. I have paid fees and my connection got active that enough for any customer to know. I am not ware of what's going on between airtel and airtel's agent as what he has submitted or not, whether he has submitted DD, Cheque or cash. Now at the time of closing the connection you are saying that installation fees is pending as cheque which the agent has submitted got bounced. That is not fare from any where or any point. Now request you to look into the discrepancies of the payments in the airtel account number [protected] on urgent basis and payback to me whatever extra amount that I have paid today. Otherwise I will move to consumer forum or any other legal action against double payment what I have made. Your team never tries to resolve issues with your Agent regarding Airtel installation charges and forcing customer to pay for that repeatedly.
