Airtel — Breach of fully blocked status of my mobile since more than 1.8 year / DND violation complaints not addressed in the right earnest

Address:Gurgaon, Haryana, 122015
Website:www.airtel.in

I am subscribed to Airtel vide the pre-paid mobile no. [protected] ( under the fully blocked status since Feb. 2014 ) . I have been complaining to Airtel while making calls to the relevant officials at Airtel and as even sending e-mails in comprehensive details since more than a year now on the following issues / concerns : 1. Why should I still be diligently lodging the DND violation complaints, follow ups on the same or even the PG portal complaints for resolution on the same when in the first place as per the fully blocked status of my mobile number [protected] since Feb. '2014 ( vide registration reference no. provided by Airtel as : W[protected] dated[protected] sms to this effect received from Airtel on[protected] at 16:08: 37 hours ), I, should not be getting any promotional calls or smses for that matter from the respective errant telemarketers . I am still getting the promotional calls and smses unabated till date ( rather I am deluged more than ever with the same ) on my mobile [protected], not only from the errant telemarketers subscribed to the respective service providers, but also even from the errant telemarketers subscribed to my own service provider Airtel . I, have questioned Airtel on the abovementioned fiasco many times ( with e-mails addressed to UCC head of Airtel -Mr. Anurag Jain, Complaints Head of Airtel – Ms. Beena Shahid, Airtel -ndnc, responses, net, etc but in vain till date. 2. I am given to understand vide the TRAI guidelines that the service provider should provide the feedback on the action taken within 7 days of the registration of DND Violation complaint against the errant telemarketer. But, it is observed that Airtel invariably gives 10-14 days of tenure for the feedback on the action taken while registering the respective DND Violation complaints by it . Also, the feedback on the DND Violation complaint lodged is seldom received within 7 days . Why ???? 3. Whenever, any promotional sms is recd. from the errant telemarketer and is accordingly reported to Airtel for the DND Violation complaint, the following is always mentioned in the remarks section of the DND Violation complaint forwarded to Airtel for its registration ( complaint always sent via e-mail to : [protected]@in.airtel.com with its Cc marked to airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com ) : Remarks : I, want both the abovementioned mobile contact numbers of the telemarketer ( i.e. the number from which the above sms is been transmitted and the number as well mentioned in the body of the same sms ) to be immediately disconnected out of service for the reported DND violation. But incidentally, the number mentioned in the body of the same promotional sms has anytime not got disconnected out of service for the respective reported DND violations despite repeated reminders to Airtel, thereby allowing the errant telemarketer to go partially Scott free as his second number is free to make further DND violations and only one mobile number which is used by the telemarketer to transmit the promotional sms gets disconnected out of service for the reported DND violation. The above is apart from more than half a dozen PG Portal complaints which I have lodged with Airtel on the aforementioned since[protected] till date via DDGPG-DoT office ( at : airtel.[protected]@airtel.com ; Attn. : Ms. Beena Shahid – Head Complaints, Airtel H.O. ), but in vain as Airtel is reluctant to respond specifically on the complaints lodged by myself ( while managing to close the complaints citing vague and concocted details ) and provide a resolution on the same . Incidentally TRAI has also been updated for the last 8 months on my complaints against Airtel ( e-mails to : [protected]@trai.gov.in, etc ), but also in vain . In view of the above, kindly suggest / initiate appropriate punitive actions accordingly to uphold my rights as a telecom client .

Still reporting DnD Violation complaints unabated to Airtel ; latest complaint ref. CDRGP[protected] dated[protected], as Airtel continues with its weird ways and double stand of diligently resolving the complaints ; who would believe it when I am still lodging DnD Violation complaints even after more than 1.10 years ( one year and ten months ) of getting my mobile under the fully blocked status to curb the menace o[censored]nabated promotional calls and smses from the errant telemarketers ( and that too on the recommendation of Airtel itself )...

Airtel is dilly-dallying on resolving my complaints since more than 1.10 years now . They are flouting the TRAI guidelines with gay abandon and whatsoever without any compunctions . They are tight lipped, despite many written and verbal reminders till date to answer the following core issue :

Why should I still be diligently lodging the DND violation complaints, follow ups on the same or even the PG portal complaints for resolution on the same when in the first place as per the fully blocked status of my mobile number [protected] since Feb. '2014 ( vide registration reference no. provided by Airtel as : W[protected] dated[protected] sms to this effect received from Airtel on[protected] at 16:08: 37 hours ), I, should not be getting any promotional calls or smses for that matter from the respective errant telemarketers . I am still getting the promotional calls and smses unabated till date ( rather I am deluged more than ever with the same ) on my mobile [protected], not only from the errant telemarketers subscribed to the respective service providers, but also even from the errant telemarketers subscribed to my own service provider Airtel.

Not only the above, but Airtel has resorted rather to bluff by giving mis-information on even the DND violation complaints lodged with it . E.G. the recent DND violation complaint lodged ref.CDRGP[protected]

CDRGP[protected] : feedback on the action taken was not provided by Airtel till even[protected] date which is even stipulated by Airtel itself while registering the the DND Violation dated[protected] .TRAI guidelines however say that the feedback on the action taken should be given by the service provider within 7 days of registration of the
DND violation ; So the feedback on CDRGP[protected] dated[protected] ought to have been given latest by[protected] which Airtel did not do .

[protected], however a sms was recd. by me on my mobile as follows :

AD-ARWSVC ( 16.42 hours ;[protected] :

Update Reference no. CDRGP[protected] : The defaulting unregistered telemarketer number has been disconnected by Reliance basis the reported violation.
The mobile number of the errant telemarketer registered for the DND Violation vide compl. Ref. CDRGP[protected] ; i.e. [protected] was however found to be still ringing and active ( call made at this no. at 18.15 hours from another mobile ; when a cal was made from my own mobile - [protected] to check on the disconnection at 16.42 / 16.46 hours - the call got answered ).
Today[protected] the above mobile n o. of the errant telemarketer, i.e. [protected], is still active and ringing, despite the fact that the UCC head of Airtel, nodal officer of Airtel were each informed on the above on their mobile numbers ( call made to nodal officer dated[protected] ; sms sent to UCC head of Airtel dated[protected] followed by a e-mail addressed to appellate and all the relevant dept. of airtel dated[protected] itself.

Why this mis-information ???????

N.B. :
AirtelNodal officer updated also at : [protected] - call made at this no. today at 17.15 hours . Sms also sent at 17.13 hours to the Airtel's UCC head Anurag Jain on his mobile ( [protected] ) - ALL DATED[protected]

In the recent past, there has been a blatant attempts repeatedly by the following Airtel customer care people, to dilute . digress, give altogether a different dimension to my complaints ( obviously to suit their convenience ) despite asking them to restrain themselves ( via e-mails ) :

1. Vandana Singh

2. Tarun Arora

3. Vrittika Kalra

You can view the respective e-mails sent by the above people and my reply accordingly to the same . It seems that these people have been specifically programmed by Airtel to give vague and concocted replies without of course any compunctions.

Ms.Beena Shahid - Head Complaints, to whom incidentally more than half a dozen PG portal complaints are forwarded via DDGPG-DoT office directly since[protected], has not bothered till date to respond to my e-mails, smses or calls at her mobile ( [protected] ) . She has rather allowed her above mentioned sub-ordinates to make procrastinated, vague, mutilated replies which are not even pertaining to the specifics asked / questioned in the respective complaints and thereafter they themselves go into oblivion to be later joined by another of their colleague who is just programmed as they were ( modus operandi of customer care / service dept. of Airtel - as observed till date )
DND violations continue to be lodged by myself till date, while Airtel is in deep slumber to own any accountability to specifically address the issues since long ( now since 1.9 years ) ; the following DND violation complaint lodged with Airtel today[protected] at : [protected]@in.airtel.com ; Cc : airtel.[protected]@in.airtel.com

Remarks : I, want the above mentioned contact mobile number of the errant telemarketer to be immediately disconnected out of service for the above reported DND violation.
For the recent update posted dated[protected] ...

Airtel's horrendous saga continues in context to the above

cited subject and trailing e-mails ...

Following sms sent today to ucc head of airtel on [protected]

at 16.31 hours ( second time since[protected]

without off course any response to anyone of the smses ) :

is there any limit to the nonsense and mockery ??

ref. Sms to u dated[protected] the no. [protected] is still active

till date, ringing still at the time of sending this sms ????
Till date airtel has been dilly-dallyi ng to provide the resolution to my respective grievances while the promotional calls a nd smses from the errant telemarketers
are recd unabated till date . What the n is the utility of hav ng a fully blocked status for my mobile whe n it is not complied ??????????

the above ques. Has bee n posed ma ny a times to the appellate of airtel i n writte n over the last 2 years, but they are reluctant to respond to it .
