Airtel — broadband connection and related scam | |||
Hi, I have applied for a airtel broadband connection online with the required details given. I didnt got any message or email regarding the request. After two days a agent said i'm calling behalf of airtel and said i'm checking for the connection for u. And another field agent called me and said that i will come and collect doc and money from you (Rs.[protected] and will give u connection within a day. Another agent called me from coimbator and asked for connection where i live in chennai. This is totally a disaster approach. And u will keep on getting message related to broadband and call. As per airtel coverage checking team we dont have any connection in airtel at my area for broadband /vfiber The agent who claim them as airtel will come and collect money with no proper bill and the ask only for cash?? Airtel is a big company but still they dont have this organized?? And allowing agent to scam people. If considering the above, once the customer given money and realize that the connection cannot be made at the area. Call the customer care. They say money will be returned to the bank account or will send u cheque which is a false note. Also its difficult to reach any agents as the call from different number.
