[Resolved] Airtel — broadband connection shifting issue

I have been using airtel broadband connection for the last two months and it has been decent. I had to shift my residence recently which is around 2 km from the current location. I checked with airtel team and they confirmed the airtel broadband feasibility and the new location.
I raised the shifting request ticket with airtel and provided the details and address of the new residence. They confirmed the shifting will be done in 3 business days. I shifted on march 4th, 2018 and they could fix the broadband connection at my new residence by 7th of march. After that this has been a journey, they said the connection will be reactivated in half an hour time and ever since it has been a long wait. I have been following up with them since then, today it is march 13th and the connection is still not reactivated.
They informed me that there were no cases of shifting of broadband earlier and they are facing problem in fixing it in the backend. I spoke to the backend team manager and his next level, but no resolution it. As per airtel manager, my expectation is too high that the connection should be activated soon. Airtel is not ready to find a temporary solution till they could fix the backend problem permanently.
I have taken the six month pre-paid plan and i cannot cancel the plan since airtel is not ready to refund the money.
I am not sure what else i would be able to do to fix the problem.

Airtel team finally fixed the issue by solving the problem that they had at the backend.
