Airtel — Broadband shift connection

I requested a shift in location of my airtel broadband connection (Within in the city - bangalore) in the month of may (Request was made before the end of the billing period). Airtel's website mentioned that connection will be shifted in 5 days. Airtel did not # the connection in 5 days even after requesting multiple times. Instead airtel asked me to cancel the connection (After the new billing period has started). I canceled the connection and paid all dues after speaking with airtel and confirming that i will not be charged anything extra amount except the due amount of may month.

Now airtel is suffocating me with calls every day asking me to pay an amount of 188 rupees, for which i never received any bill. The representative from airtel told that the charges are for the period in which airtel made me wait for the # of connection and later forced me to cancel the connection.

In this pandemic situation airtel made me suffer without providing internet connection which are essential to perform my professional duties from home. I paid a private mobile internet service to perform my duties while waiting for airtel to shift the connection.

Airtel failed to shift the connection within the time it specified, made me wait for weeks, forced me to pay for internet via private cellular network provider and now asking me to pay for the period in which airtel did not provide any service to me.

Dear airtel it is your mistake that you did not shift my connection and forced me to cancel it over a phone call from your representatives. It is nothing but mockery of customer if you ask me to pay for the period in which you did nothing to provide me any service. So stop making calls every day. Use some good brains and thoughts before you choke customer with calls.
