[Resolved] Airtel — Broadband speed - Not delivering the assured speed - CHEATING CONSUMER | |||||
I opted for Airtel' Broadband connection in Feb. 2016 & it is an ARP @ 16Mbps speed - present FUP is 130GB. Till today right from Feb. 7, 2016 the maximum speed was hardly 1Mbps; I lodged so many complaints & no action was taken by the company to deliver 16Mbps speed as per the plan I opted for & assured by Airtel "IN BLACK & WHITE". They keep repeating the same stories again & again like " IF YOU CONNECT YOUR SYSTEM TO ROUTER DIRECTLY USING CABLE YOU"LL GET 16Mbps SPEED"; this is a white lie since I checked it out too. Recently I got to know that speed is low because of the distance of my residence is from their exchange; they concealed this fact for nearly 1 1/2 years so far & only recently accepted this fact. This is "OUTRIGHT CHEATING" that too for so long. My efforts to set right this issue are in vain & it is quite clear Airtel doesn't care a damn about their customers & mints money in all ways they can cheating customers like us outrightly. My written complaints through eMails to their appellate authorities also haven't yielded any corrective actions from their end; hence this complaint to our Indian government.
