Airtel — change of corrupted sim | |||||
I have airtel prepaid sim ([protected]). The sim got corrupted and was not working. I went to airtel store in punjabi bagh (West) on 23rd september, 2018 for replacement. They asked me for rs. 25 for new sim. My concern here is that it is airtel sim which is not working and i am the one not able to make calls using that sim, then why i should be paying anything at all to airtel for purchasing new sim. Mr. Avinash (Airtel executive) said that amount has to be paid for the material cost of new sim. A sim costing rs. 25 is not something i can understand. Moreover i also asked mr. Avinash if i will get payment receipt for this purchase. On this he replied that they will note down my email id and mail the receipt. At that point receipt was not available. How can airtel sell sim if they cannot produce receipt of the same? More importantly why should i pay for the product of airtel which is not working? Was this information helpful? | |||||
