[Resolved]  Airtel — Change of plan for 4G connection without customer consent

I have Airtel 4G connection which was sold to me stating that the plan will not change and is fixed for lifetime, the plan was 10GB of data @999/- and post which there would be no additional charges but with reduced speed. Now, Airtel is forcefully changing the plan to 10GB limited data post which they'll be charging for each kb of data usage. I have raised this concern with Airtel customer care centre via multiple e-mails however they have come back that the plan now will not be changed and if I want I can switch to another service provider. I'm fine in switching to another service provider however Airtel is not even ready to pay for the modem buy back which they are saying that they don't do as per terms and condition but my question is that as per the terms and conditions they should not have changed the bill plan as well then. Before contacting them via mails I had a brief discussion with Airtel Custome Care executive wherein I was told that the plan will not change if I'm not fine in changing the same. Airtel in the first place did a mis-selling by not letting me know about the bill plan change in near future then I a false commitment stating the bill plan will not change and later on forcefully changing the bill plan. ( I have the all the mails from Airtel which I can forward as required) Request you to let me know if the bill plan can be changed without customer consent and is the service provider has full rights to make changes as per their wish.
