Airtel — Charging extra amount for the data i didn't even use

Last month, I changed my postpaid plan from 999 to 1499 on 26 of December. Then I activated Smart pack internet for 1705 rupees. so the total should be 1499 + 1705 = 3204. But my the bill I got is 5752.46. I called customer care for clarification. I am here to complain about AIRTEL SCAM.

this is how they said..
1499 - current plan (ok)
1705 - smart pack internet (ok.. I am aware)
1500 - internet from my previous plan (I DIDNT EVEN USE 0.01 KB - SCAM)
29 - for calls (but my plan is unlimited and in my previous plan also I had so many free hours)
74 - for value added service (I didn't add any. not even one. I don't even what's that. HELLOTUNES IS NOT ACTIVATED)
167 - extra internet (they take amount for extra usage even though the bill plan says that the internet stops after limit)
726 - TAX (YES TAX)

now the total is 5700. balance 52.. god only knows for what they are charging this 52 for.

when I talked to one of the customer care executive, she said that she will deduct 1500 and 167 as I said its not fair for me to pay when I didn't use but then she transferred the call to some higher executive as the amount is huge. and she said she can only deduct 1000. when I kept questioning them about this scam they tried to convince me or remained silent.

tax 726?? seriously??


AIRTEL IS SCAM. this is the last month I am ever going to use Airtel. anyway they gonna charge for the whole month if I disconnect now.
