my complain is regarding my digital television set up box registed under my wife name sahana, registered mobile no-[protected]. I recently requested re installation of my set up box in siliguri due to relocation on 23rd march on ur toll free no, your rep advised me to upgrde my package to magnum as i was looking fr maximum HD channels or a period of 3 months . I was advise to make a immediate payment of Inr 2050 . I was confirmed by the employee that the validity of the package was for 3 months, as advised the payments were made by me on 24th feb. Later earlier this week i happen to call your customer service brach on 6th march and was informed that the employee i spoke with on 23rd feb did not activate the pack he asked me to make the payment for and hence my validity is not for 90 Days . I spoke to various customer servicce nd escalation specialist but their insufficient knowledge landed me up with escalation team lead himanshu . I was informed by the lead that they would liten to the call recording and arrange for a call back on my reg mobile no by 1300 Hrs on 7th march . As obvious with my past experience with airtel that never happened . This would be an ideal example of pathetic customer service provider by airtel . Hence am escalating this matter over to your escalation forum . Post this if still my issue persists and i do not receive a call back i would take this further with ombudsman and consumer court.
