Airtel — Complaint about new Internet Broadband Connect | |||
Sub: Complaint about new Internet Broadband Connection not activated from 26th Nov, 2020 till date, service request no. [protected]. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter to inform you that I am highly dissatisfied with the Airtel internet broadband connection service not activated even after 2 weeks of installation. I raised a request for a new Airtel broadband connection and completed all the KYC and payment process on 26th Nov. I have paid the connection fee and also advance rental. The installation engineer visited the site on 27th Nov and completed the installation process by laying the cable and installing the router. Thereafter the engineer was not able to activate the connection citing technical problem at server end which is beyond his purview. Thereafter, he expressed that he as well as his area manager is not getting any response from backend team even after 4/5 days of follow-up and also said that he and his team will not be able to help anymore and asked me to raise a request for same with the customer service helpdesk. I have contacted the Customer Service Helpdesk on 1st Dec 2020 and made necessary request for restoring any technical issue and activation of my connection at the earliest. Thereafter, I have made several calls daily to the customer support but there is still no solution to it. Every time assurance is given by the customer support team that the connection will be activated within 24 hours but till today there is no response neither any follow up by anyone from Airtel team. Magnificent advertisements for this Airtel product have been installed in and around my area as the superfast internet, and i would say there is no responsible team who can work at least to activate the connection. I am also not getting appropriate support from the sales team as well. I am highly dissatisfied with this attitude of Airtel internet broadband connection service and many of my important works is been disturbed. I have promptly completed all formalities and I have also made timely payment of all the necessary fee. If this is not re-solved at the earliest, I will be forced to take necessary action and might knock the doors of consumer related authorities. May kindly do the needful at the earliest.
