[Resolved]  Airtel — complaint regarding my number - [protected]

To whom so ever it may concern

This is to bring in your kind notice that it's been 5th week my number (+91-[protected]) is not working and i'm facing lot of issues because of this. I have been visiting one of your airtel store in rajouri garden since 5 weeks but not getting any solution from them. The executives there always say its it team issue not ours, and there is no way that i can connect to it team. They always say that they have forwarded the mail to them but not getting any reply from it team. Below is the complete case which happened:

Step 1:

I visited airtel store to convert my corporate plan to my family infinity plan. I have told executive there that i want to change my plan to my family infinity 499 plan, the told me that sir you are already using corporate plan so they first need to convert it to individual plan then only 499 infinity plan will be activated. I agreed, and then they have proceeded with the process. They have told me that it will take approximately 24 hours to get your plan changed. Next day got a message from airtel that my 499 infinity plan has been activated on my number, but since that message came my internet stopped working. I called airtel customer care on 121 and ask them for the problem, the executive over the call said that sir you number is under activation status that's why data is not working, they have taken my complaint (No.[protected] and asked me to wait for 24 hours. Next day after 24 hours, i called 121 again & asked for my complaint status, they again asked me to wait for 24 hours, this continued for 3 days. After not getting solution on phone from 121 i visited airtel store again and asked them about the issue, the executive over there said that it team and closed my old relationship number (That was associated with my corporate plan) but activated your new infinity plan on that relationship number, also they have activated a child plan also on with my number due to which data got mis-matched & it is not working. Then i asked them about the solution, they said this cannot be resolved as old relationship number is closed. So they suggested me to convert my postpaid number to prepaid for 1 week after that they will again convert it to postpaid. I agreed.

Step 2:

As mentioned in step 1 i agreed with the airtel store executive to convert my postpaid number to prepaid for 1 week. After this they have escalated y process of post to pre & my prepaid number got started in 2 days. I have properly used prepaid number for 1 week. Then the executive in airtel store processed the pre to post conversion request for which he has charged me 250 rs. & promised me that this 250 rs. Will be adjusted in my 2nd month bill. But when they converted my number again to postpaid my prepaid number signals are out & i have received postpaid signals after my address verification. I have then called 59059 for tele-verifcation. After successful verification i have completely lost the signals and it started showing no service on my phone, then i visited store again and asked for the issue, they replied that sir your number is again went under pending for activation for don't know what reason. Since then its been also 1 week that i have no service on my number.

Step 3:

After this i called 121 care they & launched a complaint against this (No.[protected] & waited for 24 hours, after 24 hours i called again then executive replied that sir you number is under disconnection. And asked me to visit airtel store again. I don't know why my number went for permanent disconnection without any request, without my concern, without my issue.

Step 4:

Airtel store executive recovered my disconnected number again today, i have completed all the activation process but after doing tele-verification my number again shows pending for activation status. Now, tell me what to do my number is not working from more than 5 weeks.

Problems i'm facing because of these issues:

1. Not able to use any mobile services since 5 weeks.
2. Not able to use any banking operations.
3. Not able to connect to anyone.
4. Many more...

Please help me bout this issue asap because i want my number back in working condition because it went under permanent disconnection without asking me and without notifying me. I don't know who have told you to disconnect my 12 years old number without any concern. I hope i will get asap support solution.

Just received a call from Mr. Pankaj from Airtel regarding my issue. But i have not received any solution from him infact he disconnected my call in between, such a poor manpower Airtel has.

Received another call from Mr. Deepak from Airtel, he asked about my adhaar card number, i have given him my adhaar number but he was not able to verify that. So, he said that he will pass it to concerned team & disconnected the call. I don't know how is that Golden Employee of AIRTEL that come and help me?

Hi...
Nowadays, Airtel network is not connecting properly i.e network, internet, and though we have signal, but we are not getting internet.Sometimes with signal facility also unable to connect.Most importantly a proper customer care number is not given.There should be a separate number for complaints.Many o[censored]s are tired o[censored]sing.If the problem won't be solved, we'll change to another network.Try to solve the issue as early as possible.
