For postpaid, i have a postpaid airtel connection. For the past 3 weeks, i am not able to make calls or receive calls most of the time. It works 1 out of 15 times, and that too after trying together for 4 to 5 times. Moreover, when i give them a call they don't understand how important this complaint is. They say things like you should switch off your mobile phone, or that your connection is still not activated, whereas i have been using this contact number for the past 8 months.
For prepaid, my friend has a prepaid connection from airtel. Whenever she makes a call, she has to first listen to a full airtel advertisement, only then does the first ring go. Consider a situation where we are being assaulted, will we have time to listen to that advertisement before making a call to the police. They won't even take a serious complaint regarding this.
