Airtel — conversion of prepaid to postpaid | |||
Dear Sir with reference to the captioned subject, I advise that i was allotted a postpaid number [protected](SBI CUG connection) in the name of sonal gupta. I had to shift Uttrakhand in april 2013 and my number was converted to prepaid on my request. after conversion, i was given a new SIM card which was activated 24 hours but call was made very rarely. it was never disconnected from airtel services. Incoming calls were regular on this number and data pack was also used by me. On june 26, 2014 I got a ebill mail on my registered mail id regarding bill payment of Rs.337, bill was in the name of Vardan Gupta. I have never requested for conversion of my number into postpaid. I was always under impression that my number is prepaid. I have written three mails to nodal officer, NCR region, Airtel but satisfactory reply was not received from them. Airtel guys were supposed to convert my prepaid number([protected]) to postpaid, and they have collected money for the same.
I was told that the conversion will be done within 3 days of time, It's been three weeks since they collected 600 from me for conversion of two numbers of mine.There's no response from the team regarding this, and when asked they carelessly answer.I was asked not to recharge since the conversion will be done and I'm unable to make calls now.I just need to know whether these guys have the capability to convert prepaid to postpaid or they're simply fooling people saying so.The lady from customer care who called me was on this number- [protected]
