Airtel — customer not given roaming service for the advertised 30 day period for which money got detected | |
Airtel postpaid Ir roaming plan 30 day validity 3999 inr This is regarding airtel billing, user ir charges even though the user is in the 30day period for which user already paid full amount. Amount was paid prior to validity expiry. User tried to stop auto renewal for the same pack from next month bill. Airtel says that deactivated the pack within the validity period expiry Below is the full details. I activated my international roaming pack for 30 days on 26th of October (Last month) The activation was done by a customer support technician on call. He Also explained me that its valid for 30 days from the day you land Abroad and costs you 3999/- inr. Also he mentioned the fact its auto Renewal and needs to be deactivated to stop if from getting charged For subsequent months. I was charged 3999 in my last billing cycle. For which i paid prior to The bill generation. Today i got a message my current international roaming due is 4860 Inr. I am still in my 30 day cycle and still got charged. I called the cc rep on phone, he said you deactivated last week, so The 30 day validation got terminated. I tried him explain him and tell Him the reason i clicked remove the pack (From my app) is to stop it from getting Auto-renewed for next billing cycle. He doesn't seem to care and keep saying even for 1 day we will charge you 3999. Its a one-time payment plan and its supposed to be active for the full 30 day cycle. How can you gets get the full money and say you Cancelled it so we stopped it. Also who gave you the right to enable ir roaming on default. I didnt Get a single message saying it got deactivated nor i got a message Saying you are charged for the usage. Till i got to the 4860 inr. Seriously? What kind of advertisement you put to cheat customer Saying its a 30 day plan and one time chargeable still wont provide The customer the the benefit for 30 days. I will need my 30 day validity restore for the reminder of the 30 day Period and any charges accumulated needs to be put against it.
