Airtel — data balance- international roaming | |
This is in relation to the International Roaming Services activated on my number for 30 days, wherein it provided that i am allowed to use 5 GB data on my number. However, Airtel plays very smart and doesnt inform the customer if the data balance is over or you have exceeded the same. One cannot even check the same on the app, since the same shows the local data usage. I have received a bill where I have been charged for using 1.5 GB data extra for which the customer care did not hesitate in asking me for the charges. But when my data balance was over neither did I receive a call nor did I receive a message. A simple way of fooling the customers. To top it all I was following up with the customer care during my trip as my network did not work for 3-4 days and the customer care did not guide me well. Its surprising how they keep sending you promotional offers and call you for porting etc. but they dont bother to update the customers on data usage, etc. Was this information helpful? | |
