[Resolved] Airtel — Delay in Refund of Deposit amount (against Non delivery of applied Tel/Broadband connection) | |||||
Sub line of email communication going with appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com is "REFUND AMOUNT-FIXED LINE A/C NO:[protected]" Telephonic call received with offer of Telephone and Braod band plan on 8-Apr-16. Since 6 month earlier my request was rejected due to non availability of port for phone in area of residence, i confirmed to verify before processing same, based on assurance given by telecaller i processed for application formalities with Deposit amount Rs 1000/- with application (8-Apr-16, Application CEF No[protected].) Later i called at [protected] (Airtel) by person on 12-Apr-16 "having an issue will be sort out soon in next 2-3 days and connection will be delivered or we will process for refund". Date" 23-April-16 requested for refund through NEFT (all necessary documents were scanned and email to the above email id. on 26-Apr-16 communicated "we have initiated your refund on 25/4/16 and you will get the same with 4-5 working days on your respective bank account. " on 29-Apr-16 recd call informing "cheque will be processed by next week" same day i informed to above email id. Reply recd on 30-Apr-16 refund through NEFT with the reference number 66994148 has been rejected stating that refund through cheque is in under process. Hence, you will receive the refund through a cheque within 4 to 5 working days. Via email, they have verified and confirm that your refund of Rs. 1000/- has already been processed as a cheque bearing the number "699060" dated on 26-04-16 which is in transit for delivery within 10 to 12 working days. While follow up /communicating after 12 working day regarding non delivery of cheque, updated that above cheque is dispatched on dispatched on[protected] and the same will be delivered within 20 working days.
