[Resolved] Airtel — delay in resolving complaint by customer care officer of airtel service provider | |
My complaint is towards bharti airtel service provider - customer care executives. My concern is regarding my fathers post paid airtel mobile number. On may 06, 2020 my fathers mobile number showed network not registered on his phone, i thought its normal/ regular network issue for some time, will get resolved later. But still showed the same message. Finally i called the customer care service on may 13, 2020, executive officer suggested to go airtel office and request for new sim, since my home is far away from airtel office and not sure about whether office will be open because of covid situation and also the user of this number is above 70 yrs of age thought would not be safe for him to travel outside during this period so requested the officer to send some one to my place with new sim, for which the executive officer agreed, he raised the request for new sim (Request no:[protected] and said new sim will take 5 working days to reach to your place. I agreed. On may 19, 2020 i called to the customer care service again to check the status, officer said will escalate the matter and will be resolved within 24 hours. I called again on may 22, 2020 spoke to some senior officer he also said your issue will be resolved within 24 hours. Today i. E. May 27, 2020 again called the customer care executive to check the status of the complaint, said will take time. I can understand the current situation and i was patient enough to wait. But now i m feeling that these officers are taking too long to resolve my issue. It’s been more than 25 days now; my father’s mobile service is still not working. Also inspite of the complaint raised to the service provider the matter is not resolved. If the service provider had issues resolving my concern should have flagged it at first place itself rather than giving false assurance to me. Was this information helpful? | |
Jun 1, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved I also wrote mail to airtel nodal officer. They were quick in response. They ensured me that issue will be resolved in 72 hrs and actually adhered to it. Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
