Airtel — device claim service request # 2210133 not solved | |||||
Hi, It is very sad to know that i have been with airtel since quite a time. Few month ago i opted for airtel secure plan for the protection of my mobile. Few days ago my mobile's touch was broken and camera stopped working due to the accident in lift my phone fell from hand. I raised a claim and handset was picked by airtel. I got a call from agent regarding estimate and all. I agreed to their terms and conditions and they were ready to repair the handset, suddenly i got a mail from airtel saying that "we regret to inform that your device claim of rs.6579.0 has been rejected by the insurance company due to improper handling | no proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property". Now i don't know what kind of reason is that, every one used to install screen protect to protect mobile's screen but still accidents used to happen and screen used to get damaged. I have opted services from airtel not from insurance company, airtel should be responsible for this not one-assist May i request you to look into concern as after 10 days of rigorous follow up i could register my claim and after 10 days of picking the device, i have been told that claim is rejected. I have not taken this secure services from insurance provider and i don't want to hear their lame excuses. I am going to proceed with legal option if not taken my request seriously.
