[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — Malpractice of Airtel Digital TV of charging Late Payment Fees for Reactivation on PrePaid DTH service

Hi, I had purchased Airtel Digital TV on 11th March 2014 and My Customer ID is [protected]. My 1st recharge had got over on 10th April 2014 and as I Out of Town, I had to wait to get back to town to recharge it. Post getting back in town, I called Airtel Digital TV customer care on 22nd April 2014 regarding recharging my account. Upon which I was told that in addition to the due recharge amount, I will also have to pay Late payment fee of Rs. 20. I find this Late payment fee of Rs. 20 as being unlawfully levied to me (and million other customers like me) on below ground: It is a pre-paid service and not post-paid, so the question of Late Payment does not arise. Could you please look into this malpractice of Airtel Digital TV through which they are fleecing money from their customers through unlawful charges. Thanks and Regards Arindam Biswas

Hi i am koushik my customer id [protected] since i have been to abroad for a year so i told to disconnect my dth, now i would like to start the service but the airtel cc told to recharge for min amount and wait for 48 hrs they took all details about my STB ID, Viewcard No., C-ID, and forwarded a mail to the concerned dept. but almost 1/2 month over still no one ever called me and not yet activated and even registered complaint 63161694 irresponsible Airtel
