Airtel — Dissconnection of network | |||
After a lot of frustration with Airtel's ridiculously low FUPs, I have finally moved off from Airtel to BSNL. My BSNL got up and running, after a few initial hiccups. So now, I want to terminate my Airtel connection, for which I have called their Customer Care and got a "Complaint number" with an assurance that they'll get in touch in 7 days. I have looked up a little over the internet and have read a couple of horror stories about Airtel broadband customers trying to get their connection terminated. So, I want to ask those who have had experience with this: 1 How long does it take to get an Airtel broadband disconnected? 2 How do you fend off the retention cell guys? 3 Can you outline the process you have to go through to get your subscription terminated? 4 What do I have to do to ensure that I am not scammed anyway (like being billed after my connection is supposed to have been terminated)? 5 What are the possible scams that the Airtel guys might be up to? Obviously I cannot get these queries resolved by the Airtel Customer Care people. Thank you in advance. Was this information helpful? | |||
