Airtel — duplicate of sim

I purchased a prepaid sim from a retailed through my aadhar card. But since activated i ham getting facebook notifications of some other user on phone. May be this number was being used by someone else before.. But even after one month the same thing is happening that means i am not the only one who is holding the same number. Evan when i make a call from the same number the receiver is shown some others name as caller (Truecaller). I am not able to understand the same. Hence i want to surrender the number.. I got prepaid to postpaid conversion done on 12th October and from then the data is not working. Complained to customer care and the retail office from where I got the sim. No response till date. Request your intervention please.
