Airtel — Excessive Charging of Data in Overnight | |||
I had been an Airtel Billing user and had been active since portability from Loop to Airtel since last year. While i had been on roaming till 26th night, Yesterday early morning 26th Jan around 6am, i found warning in my mobile that my data limit which i had set in warning had crossed the limit. I just checked out by sending an message at 6.30am from mobile "DATAUSE" to 121 and got a reply that 46MB data was used till 4.03 am. I rechecked it again around 8am and it was showing the use of 434MB 3G Data till 7am. While my mobile battery drained on 25th night so i kept on charging and left it on table. All my application as well as other GPRS n Tethering was off; so how come i am getting that 388MB extra. I feel something fishy about the issue as my average Internet usage in last 6 month is 250MB and this time it is showing 434MB(that too 388MB in 2 hours) in 6 days(Billing cycle is from 20) I use it mostly for Watsapp application and in some case may be Internet browser. All my downloads happen on WIFI as it is installed at office as well as home.
