[Resolved]  Airtel — Frequent Internet Disconnections

My nightmare started the day I got an Airtel service for broadband. My no is [protected] a) They are the most expensive amongst competition, but considering I have an association with Airtel since a long time (as I have Airtel no. as well as Airtel DTH), I have had no issues with Airtel service b) While Airtel claims a free modem along with the connection, the modem can only connect 4 devices. Reason: Security (I think Banks / ATMs should shut as Airtel has arrived with the strongest security tool! (pun Intended) Which means previously their systems were easily hackable. Hail Airtel!) c) I frequently started to face problems with erratic login error, inspite of putting right details. I had reset the router multiple times, for it to not show me the error and connect. Till my wifi stopped connecting at all, and I complained yesterday. d) CS from Airtel called and stated he is reseting from his end and I would not face this again e) Well! It happened within 24 hrs again, I have already resetted dozen of times, just to make the damn thing work. f) So called the CS no. as it wasnt working. I did not have my details handy like landline no. so requested the CS guy to pls trace my details, as he already has my mobile no. Strangely the CS from Mobile division managed to give the details, but when he transferred the landline dept. the CS asked the same detail again. He refused to budge till I have my details. I think Airtel has not taught something like 'database search' to their team. When asked to transfer to his senior, he stated no one is available. On asking his details, he stated his name is Subash Chandra. Ofcourse Airtel thinks customer is a fool! I dont think Airtel needs adamant fools in their CS, who are good for nothing! I have no time to entertain any more engineer visits and one more time my screen flashes 'Login Error' I would be filing a complain against Airtel, in Consumer Court for mental harassment, baiting me for a cheap modem and acquiring me as customer. I would also be pretexting my case for giving me hard time to finish my business commitments. Such companies should be taken to task, So I would also be approaching media to cover a story on how such companies should be out of business.
