Airtel — harassment of airtel agencies | |||||
Hi, My airtel no. Was [protected] registered under the name of isha kumthekar. Because of inconsistent network connection i have requested for the disconnection of my airtel 4g wifi on 11th april 2017. I have called the airtel call centre atleast 5 times to make sure of number disconnection and after calling so many times i kept getting calls from airtel about the outstanding amount for 5 months period after 11th april disconnection request. Since last 4 months i am getting regular threat calls form your recovery agencies. They called and harassed me for bill amount that is disputed by me. Last time i complained about the same to airtel call centre they assured me that our accounts and billing team will call in next 24 hours and disconnect the number. But still nothing happened on the billing front. No communication from any airtel team only calls kept on coming from a very rude recovery agency. All the time they are apologising that for some reason the disconnection request was not processed and it is not disconnected. This made me wait and not launch a complaint on mail. I have never said that i won't pay money for what i have used but if i have requested for a disconnection on 11th april and after getting a call from the billing department (3 times) saying that your amount will be waved off and you don't have to entertain anyone who is calling you other than airtel employees. I neither received any number of the the disconnection process nor any mails or sms's. I got only my outstanding payment mails and sms's. You can always check my recordings as well for clear perspective. Now, after 3 months (Since april) in june i started getting calls from a delhi based advocate office (Sr. Advocate divakar joshi - [protected]) threatening me of legal ramifications for the outstanding amount for my airtel 4g wifi account and they are harassing me that if i won't pay 70% amount of the generated bill then they will arrest me. I want to ask you on what basis you will arrest me? I am very stressed by this kind of recovery threats for the unjust amount and i need you to put an end to this harassment asap. Below are their numbers who are harassing me by calling every single day: Prashant - [protected] District officer delhi - [protected] Delhi court senior advocate - [protected] Also, i haven't received any legal notice or intimation from airtel about the procedures. (Which your sr. Advocate has threatened me about.) I have called and asked the call centre if i should go to nearest office and close this. Since they said that's not necessary i never went. Also, attached herewith are my usage screenshots from 11th april 2017. If you are going to take this lightly then i know my civil rights and will use them as a harassed consumer. If you don't revert within 24 hours i am taking this online and making this reach to as many people as possible. Hope someone responsible addresses this immediately.
