[Resolved] Airtel — Highlighting airtel's callousness regarding number port | |
Airtel's callousness when it comes to cases of handling porting numbers should be highlighted. I had applied for a request three weeks ago and had to re-submit my documents after the vailidity of the SIM 'lapsed' in order to get a new SIM card. Turns out, the new SIM that was given to me was NEVER updated in their records and my first SIM was activated. The official who delivered me the second SIM confidently told me to destroy it, despite me cross-checking it with him. The verification team is equally insensitive and demands to speak to me only when I was assured that speaking to my wife will also do. The concerned person who had been my point of contact now refuses to take my calls. I have come to realise that shifting to Airtel was a mistake and that they should STOP HARASSING PEOPLE. Complaining to them over Twitter elicits the template responses and the issue is NEVER sorted. On the contrary, new channels of communication open up that leads to MORE CONFUSION AMONG THESE PEOPLE.
