[Resolved]  Airtel — Incorrect billing due to airtel executive carelessness

I have been using Airtel WIFI and postpaid number - [protected] in corporate plan from Jan'16. I have lost the WIFI & number on 19-July-2016.and i have raised a compliant on Arumbakkam Airtel office on 30-July-2016 (token no : T054), stating that my old one was lost and please stop the billing and i will the pay the amount on pro data basis. As i have bought new Airtel wifi (token no : T011)and new postpaid number ([protected]) on the same showroom with advance rental plan by paying 4000. Later on i have received the bill for old number and asked to pay full amount which i told already raised the request to stop. but executive did not close it on same day. Now i am getting multiple calls from Airtel threatening to pay the amount 1087 (for old number). they are not understanding if i want to fool them i would have gone for other vendors when purchasing new wifi. but instead i went with airtel wifi.

Even now i am ready to pay the amount used from 12-July to 19-July on pro data basis.
Request some suggestion.

Hi Akanksha,

As i informed clearly i want to cancel the old number [protected] completely. Still i am getting the ebill.
today i have received the ebill for 11-July to 10-Aug. Please confirm whether the action has been taken from your end and stop this ebill.

Airtel — Beware of airtel Please don't take an airtel broadband connection.

They only act like good up-to if you are customer, and you want to disconnect your connection for any reason, even due to their inability to provide the connection to your new location they started charging you by sending bills for the non connected account is .disconnected account and they will threaten you to pay for it...
