[Resolved]  Airtel — Inordinate delay in porting out after request for mnp transfer to bsnl

I had applied for an MNP to BSNL from Airtel on 29.6.2015.I was given an unique porting ID on that date which was duly entered in the BSNL application form. This ID expires on 29.7.2015. On July 6 I received a message from Airtel that the porting out will be done within seven working days. (Reference no.[protected]. Nothing happened till 15th July. I called up 121 on 16, 17, 18, 19, 21 July and each time some executive like Parthaprastim Changkakoti, Devjani and others told me the same story that they were sending a request to escalate the matter and that I will be cotancted by the Airtel team within next morning or within three hours. But none of this happened and Airtel still has not deactivated my number to allow me to use the SIM that BSAL has already approved and given me. I have also paid the billed amount which was intimated to me and there will be an unbilled amount which I can pay immediately only if I am informed about the amount. I am at my wits end because of this harrassment by Airtel and in another seven days when this Porting ID expires I will also lose themoney that I have already paid to BSNL for the MNP connection.
