Airtel Internet — Postpaid connection - extra data pack deactivation - unreasonable charges added to the bill. | |
Dear Monalisa Aswal H,
Greetings from Airtel!
This is in reference to your request regarding deactivation of internet service on your Airtel mobile number [protected].
I regret for the inconvenience caused to you.
I would like to inform you that when you requested for deactivation of internet due to high expensive charges, your account was retained and your charges are explained on 27/09/2015.
As per the transaction id [protected] on 06/10/2015, your data pack has been deactivated.
Since the data packs are flat rate the charges levied on your bill is valid.
Thank you for your patience.

For raising the request on 27 September the deactivation happened on 7 October.
I made it clear that I am not interested in the extra data pack.
I do not see the point in charging me for the excess 5gb data pack just because
Airtel was in-efficient in deactivating the service in time.
I request for the revised bill for the cycle of 27 September to 26 October.
Please resolve and act on the issue and do not provide redundant information.

Repeated requests since September 27, 2015 (after the 25 August-26 September
billing cycle) for deactivation of the extra data packs for 1gb and 4gb were
not acted upon immediately.
Highly disappointing app which provides no facility for deactivation.
Please check the previous interactions with Airtel - not enough clarity on
resolving the issue,
Especially
Id [protected].
The charges for the mentioned data packs are again included for the billing
cycle 27 September - 26 October.
The issue not handled properly and will be making the payments only after the
resolution of the billing amount.
It's has been mentioned 4 hours is the due time.
