Airtel — Mis selling of Product by Airtel Company | |||
Hello, Greetings ! I recently brought an Airtel 3G Wifi Dongle connection on 8th April 2014 number [protected]. I requested to activate unlimited 950 Rental where 6 GB o[censored]nlimited 3G is available and then it would be 128 kbps. But instead the Chembur gallery activated 750 plan where only 5GB internet was activated. When the confirmation and activation call was made, I did not confirm with the call centre as I was in a hurry to activate and leave and hence the Chembur store employees blame me for it. Since the line got activated on 11th and thinking it is unlimited, I used approx 2 GB in 2 days and I get an email from Aritel that your plan is 750 and now they have activated unlimited. The data usage for 2 days as per 5 GB plan should be around 5120 MB and dividing it by 30 and multiplying it by 2 gives me 342 MB approx But I have used 2 GB, now my query is that the charges mentioned is 3 ps/10 KB and 2 GB or 2048 MB (that I have used) - 342 MB = 1706 MB and converting this into KB is 1746944 KB and as per the rate of 3 paise per 10 KB it comes down to Rs. 5240.832 I would like to say this is a clear case of Mis Selling of policy and would want refund of my money if you cannot adjust it in my 6 GB Plan and hence I have stopped using it.
