[Resolved] Airtel — Miscalculation of data usage by airtel | |||||
I am using Airtel BB 999 plan with 4Mbps speed. On 5th Aug, 2016, I found that around 10GB of data has been deducted from my balance. When I checked Airtel data usage details online through airtel.in, I found, a huge amount of data (9GB) is used during 1 hr on 4th Aug night, which I am not aware . As per my current connection, I get speed of 4Mbps. Using this maximum possible downloaded data could be 2 GB in 1Hr (512kb * 3600 secs = ~1.8 GB). I am not sure how this data download happened although I was not involved. I have registered a complaint and send mails to 121, but still didn't get any response. Although I have downloaded the data usage details in a excel sheet for 4th Aug, but I am not able to check it online on airtel due to server issue.
