[Resolved] Airtel — Misinformed service rep. Wrong data charges. | |||||
Hello, My mobile number is [protected]. I got 10655 rupees of mobile bill for the period of 2 oct to 1 nov 2016. I am totally shocked after seeing the bill where you guys have mentioned that i have used approx 2 gb of data on international roaming. I am 100% sure that i could not use this huge amount of data on international roaming. The call changers are ok but i will never accept the data charges which you guys have put on my bill. Its totally shocking for me. When i called to airtel customer care on 16th of oct 2016 and asked about the international (Sri lanka) roaming rates then i got the following information: Outgoing call - rs.15/ min Incoming call - rs.20/ min Outgoing sms - rs.5 / sms Data - rs.2/ 1 mb On the same call after getting all the required information i activated my international roaming plan of rupees 149. I was misguided because you guys gave me wrong information and now you are charging me 5 rupees per 10 kb (Woooow). If i would have got this information at that time then i would have been never activated international roaming. If you want you can check the 16th oct 2016 recording of my call ([protected]) with your customer care representative. I have called so many times to customer services, and exchanged tons of emails to no avail. I donot want to pay for some customer services representative misinformation.
