This is a complaint regarding mismatch in what is being offered in My Airtel app and the benefit extended to me.
I get messages giving links to install My Airtel app almost daily.
I have installed this app sometimes ago.
On[protected] at 07:12 AM, I logged in to My Airtel app and in All Packs-Calling Section saw an offer described as-
All Local Calls @ 1.6p/2sec Validity: 56 days for Rs. 105 online recharge.
When I clicked it I was asked to Select Pay option.
I selected Debit Card and Rs. 105 was paid by me for All Local Calls @ 1.6p/2sec Validity: 56 days as described in My Airtel app.
But to my huge disappointment, I got a message saying TransID:501916Recharge Successful on 18-Jul-15 07:13 AMMRP:Rs 105.00STax:Rs12.89 Balance:Rs236.37Validity: 14daysBenefit:3000 LocalNight A2A mins
My complaint is that all I wanted was All Local Calls @ 1.6p/2sec Validity: 56 days as described in My Airtel app by online recharge of Rs. 105.
But instead I got Benefit:3000 LocalNight A2A mins with 14 days validity which is of Nil utility to me.
I am sorry to say that for what use Airtel is giving this facility of My Airtel app.
I am hugely disappointed and would like to forfeit even my pending balance and would prefer to PORTOUT if the benefit which was shown in My Airtel app is not given to me or refund is not made to me.
I am attaching screenshots of My Airtel app and also the messages which I got after online recharge.
