I obtained this connection no: [protected] at the end of March 2020 at Airtel outlet in Chennai. I paid bill through reminder sent to by Airtel to my email.
I have already paid the bill for May 2020 on 23rd May 2020, and the amount has been debited from my account.
I received many messages from Airtel that I had not paid the bill for May 2020. Then I got a message stating on 6th June 2020 about disruption of service, that the connection has been cut off for non-payment of dues.
I registered a complaint with the nodal officer in Chennai. I received a phone call at 11.30 am this morning about my complaint from no. [protected]. A person inquired whether I had paid last month's bill and the date of payment. I said I had paid the previous bill on[protected]. He then said that he will get back to me. I am now unable to get through to this number.
However, I was shocked to receive this email this afternoon with last month's charges plus late payment charges and this month's bill.
Shocking that Airtel has no proper customer service or helpline. I tried to contact them by their customer care phone number, by email but did not get any response. Was this information helpful? |
