[Resolved] Airtel — My SIM is not active | |||
I hold this number [protected], which is an AIRTEL Bangalore Prepaid number Purchased this SIM in April 2013 while I was in India. Currently I reside in USA and I had locked this number for a period of 1 year via the Airtel online locker service in May 2013. All my correspondence in India is via this number and I last used this number in May 2014 while being in USA After 2 months, I re inserted my SIM today (July 17, 2014) and my SIM is not active. I tried reaching the customer care but they were unable to help. This number is very critical for me since all my India services have been updated with this number and I am unable to proceed with any India work without this number. I had already lost my earlier Airtel number in 2011/2012 since I hadn’t used for long time but this time I was very careful to keep it active by locking the number. Still it seems to be deactivated. Could you help please help in reactivating my number. If I need to pay a fee to do this, I can pay it online. Thanks, Sandeep Was this information helpful? | |||
