Airtel — New Sim card issued inappropriately or issued recent used mobile number

I have been taken new sim card on 14thAug2021 with Airtel. However, they have allotted the recent time used number to me. I am getting messages daily which are actually indented to previous user. Not sure what basic checks they made to resale the same mobile number. When i login to some applications its already registered and I am able to see the previous owner details and in many places like Banks etc this number is registered and they will send messages or call to me which are actually for old user of this number.

Kindly help or advise me how to deal with this.
