I have applied for FastTag 1 month before on the Airtel app. I have completed all the details on the Airtel app and uploaded the RC of the car as well. But in the next 2 weeks, there were no updates on the app so I had written the email to Airtel Customer Care at [protected]@airtelbank.com.
After receiving my complaint, they told me that I'll get my Fastag in the next two weeks so I waited for the Fastag to received. On receiving the Fastag when I used it on the Toll Plaza they told me that it has not been activated.
And when I saw the update on the Airtel app, it was showing that Fastag still has not been delivered. And only after delivery, it will get activated.
Then again I have to complain to the Airtel Customer care regarding the same issue and they told the non-receipt of your FASTag. And I have to wait for another 2 weeks again for the new Fastag to received.
I would say Airtel is the worst service provider and not at all responsible for their doing. It has been almost 2 months now when I applied on the app and still didn't able to use the Fastag when it is most required in Covid situation. I still have to stand in the long queue. Even I insisted them to cancel my registration but they were told that after receiving I can do that and for the last 2 months I have not got any Fastag on the name.
