Airtel — Outgoing SMS Deactivated without Proper Reason | |
Dear Sir, My SMS has again been blocked. I have overseas business and my SMS usage is high. • Having said that, I am having this number ([protected]) over 25 years never has my payment been delayed or overdue. • This is the 2nd time Airtel have blocked my SMS services since January 2021 (Complaint Numbers:[protected] &[protected] • I have clearly instructed Airtel not to block my SMS services in January 2021 and here it has happened again in September 2021. I am incurring losses as I am unable to contact my customers. 1. Airtel have to intimate me if my usage is going beyond 90% of my credit Limit. 2. My credit limit is over Rs.12, 500/- why Ha Airtel deactivated my sms services when there is Rs.0.00 due?? Airtel now has Rs.1, 000/- excess with them. 3. Airtel Customer Service Executive said I have to make Rs.500/- to reactivate the SMS service immediately. I have gone ahead and made Rs.1000/- again but still the SMS service is not activated!!! Why?? 4. Every time I call, Airtel executives speak like Parrots saying the same things “Sorry, sir, I understand your inconvenience”, “We will resolve the issue within 4 hours”, “We will resolve your issue within 24 hours” 5. When I ask for the call to be transferred to a manager, the manager is not available!!! 6. It been over 56 hours and still the SMS have not been resumed. 7. The complaint has been closed without addressing the issue??? WHY??? Mr.Ajazulhaque from Back End Team called me from Ph.No.+91-[protected] at 5:46 pm on 07/09/2021 He says he can’t activate my SMS services until my next billing cycle (a all new story again). Every time I speak to Airtel team, they give different picture: 1st They said they said the service will be restored in 4 hours 2nd they said it will be activated in 24 hours 3rd I get a message saying that the complaint is closed 4th Airtel person says pay Rs.500 and it will be activate immediately…I paid Rs.1000 but it still did not get activated!!! 5th after 26hours your person says that SMS services will be activated only in the next billing cycle!! This is ridicules as there is no such agreement policy that Airtel will deactivate SMS on any conditions. Moreover, my credit limit is Rs.12500/- and it is not utilized even 25% Sorry to say, Airtel have a very unprofessional team and very unprofessional style of working! They don't have any answers for any of their problems, they change their policy without any intimation & they themselves do not know what those policies are. Was this information helpful? | |
