[Resolved] Airtel — Phone number not getting activated even after changing sim multiple times | |||||
I requested for conversion of my Airtel postpaid number to Airtel prepaid ([protected]) on Jan 1st at Airtel store in Indirapuram, NCR. Postpaid number got de-activated on Jan 2nd, but prepaid number did not get active as yet. Airtel store people changed the sim 3 times each time saying that earlier sim was faulty and this would work. None has worked yet. We have made numerous calls to customer care and made numerous trips to airtel store, but the attitude of Airtel is depressing. They do not seem to want to help, even though it is their problem where they should have taken ownership to ensure that the number worked fine. Was this information helpful? | |||||
