Airtel — poor coverage and bad customer service

I have been using this airtel internet connection since july 2015. I had no issues or complaints until july 2017.

I started facing the network connectivity issue (Basically the network coverage issue in and around padmanabhanagar, bangalore where i stay) back in july 2017. I was absolutely not able to connect to the network inside my residence.in august 2017, i raised a complaint with the airtel customer care and requested them to resolve the issue at the earliest as i relied mainly on this airtel internet service to do my office work. Also, i made sure that the dongle instrument i was using was fine and it was the issue with the airtel network.

Initially, i was told that the issue will be resolved within 48 hours. I followed up with the customer service people to know the status. For almost two months they told me that the issue is on hold (Not sure for what reason). One person told me that there is some problem at the junction box. I could not understand which junction box. After two months one fine day, one of the customer service person told me that the ticket has been resolved/closed at their end (Without actually resolving the issue). I was still not able to connect to the network.

As there was absolutely no service from airtel for almost three months and airtel did not resolve or rectify the network issue that i complained, i stopped paying the bill. No one would be happy to pay for something that they are not able to use. So, i immediately requested the airtel customer care to disconnect the connection from their records.

Instead, they have been generating bill on my dongle for every month. Now, they have summed up the bill to rs.5, 186.92 which is quite a huge amount and they have been calling me every day to pay the bill. Every time, a different person calls me, i have to narrate him the entire story and no one seems to do anything to sort out this issue.

I am an airtel customer since more than ten years and i used this airtel internet connection through dongle for more than 3 years. I never had any problem with airtel all these years. But, now i am seriously disappointed with this pathetic service from airtel.
