[Resolved]  Airtel — Postpaid Billing Issue, Harrasment and Foul Play, non cooperation on part of Airtel

Hello Customer Care team, I KB had issues with Airtel Billing, I tried 'n' number of times to resolve this. However, I have had . sick kind of response from airtel. I was out of mumbai for March 2014 and when in April I came back . I made a partial payment of 2000 in first week of April and wanted to resolve the dispute of the 2539 odd amount. I have never been a defaulter, and thought it was onl yfair to pay the amount at least in part and then voice out greivance. But Airtel has taken undue advantage of my forthcoming and cooperating act. My phone remained disconnected in this time all March adn April. April partiall yonly incoming was activated, which too went off. I called Airtel number of times to resolve this. many times I was kept on hold for 20 minutes plus, many times they told me Senior would call back and the call never happened. Everytime when airtel called for payment I told them my grievance which they did not resolve and made me wait for Senior to respond. Till then they added April amount to bill blowing up the bill, for a period when I had not had any service. only incoming calls for a few days only. Then some back office team girls called. I happened to resolve with them when they asked me to make a payment of 1300 and would adjust 2014/- amount. as credit. This was 6 /7 May 2014 She assured me she is not fooling around and would take 48 hours toa pply credit. I payed 1300 online (around 7 May 2014) immediately and waited. I followed up for which she picked up the call to tell me the same thing that the credit would be applied and not to worry. After few days she was not available on the number. She would cut off and at times her colleague who picked would just say she would call back. But nobody would ever would. The credit was against 1. the March and April 2014, 2. plus some credit which was pending since Sepetember 2013, (when I was out from May end to August end and not using the service ) 3. and also some calls international to UAE which were wrongly charged, as in the calls were not picked, no voicemail .just few rings and closed. 10 ...15..9..8 secs calls. multiple ties such calls have been charged over last few months. I still have paid them off thinking I would resolve this . But when it came to actually resolving Airtel people have done a foul play. The girl Reena, her number [protected] called me and had agreed to give a credit. On which I immediately made a payment from internet banking 1300/- But she never gave credit. She did not keep her word and kind off tried to fool around. This was shocking on part of a company big as Airtel. Do they give this kind of training to their so called dispute resolvers to interact with customers, who are so forth coming and willing to resolve dispute. I waited for more than1 week and called Mr Feroze . his number is [protected]. He only portrayed to be a gentleman but seems to be heading the foul play department at Airtel. . First time I foolowed up Reena picked his call saying he was busy resolving and when I questioned Reena, she said she has not done any foul play. And then 5- 6 days there was no update inspite of repeated follow up . Feroze only told once or twice ..give me some more time to resolve..he was sorry..etc.. and that he would make sure the word is honored etc.. He said it would take 8 hours to update in system and that then the credit wil l show up etc...nothing happened actually !! And then after 3 ..4 days he stopped coming on line.. he wouldcut off the call...his colleagues picked up who spoke crudely and said he was in meeting...etc !! He never ever got back till date. I see this clear foul play by Airtel and its very shameful act on Airtel part. Today May 23 2014, my family received a call probably from some other group ofcrude guys saying they would come home to collect payment. I am out of town and whenI learnt this I tried to call Mr Feroze just to know he is out of town on offical meeting without his offical phone !!. That is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I am here to convey I am ok to resolve this as long as it if fair. I have utterly dislisked Airtels approach. I only wish you take a look into this and try to resolve and not send anybody to trouble my family. When I am ready to resolve, I would not find it professional if some airtel decent person talks decently and tries to work it out, rather than giving such calls. I would ask my folks not entertain anybody at home in m y absence. If you are eager to resolve this ..communicate with me over email and let me know what you can do and we can take it from there. I cannot disclose my number /details over public forum. You can ask Mr Feroze and his team if they have initiated this collection calls to hold off till this dispute is resolved. You can contact Reena and Feroze on the numbers mentioned. I am not paying that amount. I have been not only wrongly charged, I have a complain of wrong behaviour, non cooperation, Foul Play, Threatening by Airtel and harrasment ove rphone.
