[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid Mobile — [protected]-Mobile number portability from Tata Indicom to Airtel Postpaid

I applied for a post paid number portability from Tata Indicom to Airtel postpaid on[protected] at Airtel Center, Porur, Chennai. Its been 13 days as of today and nothing has happened. I have called the customer care every other day and have gone in person to the Airtel center, Porur. The response from customer care number is contact the center where you applied and the Airtel center gives a constant reply that it will be done in another couple of days. Do Airtel realize that the MNP code expires by tomorrow (30-Oct-13) and I will be left with no other option after that ? This is completely a frustrating experience. I have been using Airtel for my broadband, DTH and even mobile service previously for more than a decade. Now I have to reconsider everything I guess. Can someone in the Airtel help me out by today? I just called the customer care again and the response is that the number is not activated yet and their supervisor will call me back. I dont understand how Airtel works with every other data computerised and available over online these days.
