Airtel — Prepaid sim replacement | |
The sim for number [protected] in name of Shri mool Chand gupta, aged 82 years was to be replaced as earlier sim had no option to be used as min/ micro in smartphone. on 9 th June, when I, his son Sanjay Agrawal contacted airtel, barra 2 Kanpur store, they asked for personal presence of 82 year old bed ridden person, but later agreed to send a representative. No one EVER turned up. On 14 th June father was taken in a big vehicle with a nurse to store. They could not use IRIS scanner (poor quality in mobile phone) inside vehicle. With help of 3 persons Father was alighted from vehicle and somhow was made to sit on a chair. With great difficulty, after 35 minutes, they said that they have been able to use Iris scanner from one of the two mobile phones with them successfully. Charged Rs. 100. But new sim no.[protected]U never activated and old sim is still working. What happens to so much effort, expenditure of few thousands in taking father after hiring Nurse to store and then no result. And you cannot raise a complaintor grievance as the mailbox of Grievance officer is full.
