[Resolved] Airtel — prepaid to forcefully postpaid connection | |||
Hi team, I am user of [protected], ashok kumar gupta and my sim got failed recently and when i visited your airtel store (Madhu vihar location), they informed me that they couldn't re-issue the prepaid sim of the same number as my name name was not reflecting in their system and if i want the same number hence i can only go for the postpaid connection. So, i asked them to update the fields, to which they said, they cannot do it in case of prepaid connection. When i asked them about the charges for the conversion of my prepaid sim to postpaid connection to which they said, inr 250 for sim issue charges and minimum plan of inr 499, that too need to be used for at-least 4 months before it can be converted again into a prepaid connection. So, i basically been charged for inr 250 + inr 499 *4 (4 month usage) + taxes Approx = inr 2605 for 4 month o[censored]sage, where on the other hand i normally charge for inr 458 of 3 month unlimited calls etc. Indirectly airtel forced me into a postpaid connection user. Nov 6, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved Airtel gave me discount of INR 500 in their bill amount and they allowed me to convert to Prepaid after 30 days only. Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
