Dear Team,
Sub:- Prepaid to Postpaid - My AIRTEL No. [protected].
I am holding above Airtel No. [protected] for more than 10 years. Which is always in Prepaid. On 03/11/2020 around 7:09am, I did a recharge of Rs.399/- validity 54 days, after I activated my network it shows an 'E' symbol on top of the network bar. Around 10 am when I checked it shows SIM lost the network and displayed an error i.e “sim not allowed”. When I checked my Airtel thanks app it shows it has been converted to Prepaid to Postpaid.
I contacted the AIRTEL Customer Care, they said it got converted from Prepaid to Postpaid, and the customer care blamed on me that maybe you did it on your side, which I deny. They informed me that postpaid will be valid till 3rd December 2020 (month from now) and I will be charged a bill of 499 + taxes, which is not acceptable. They said they will try to adjust the amount of Rs. 399. This certainly isn't comfortable as its total loss on my behalf and isn't even my fault. I am sorry to say that this is one type cheating from your AIRTEL Company, to earn the money from the public.
I would therefore request you look into this matter as soon as possible and convert to Postpaid to Prepaid, as it was there from first only.
If you fail to do so, I don’t have any other choice but to file a complaint to Consumer Forum or in Court.
Yours sincerely,
Dhiren Fofandi. Was this information helpful? |
