Airtel — promises not kept / wrong information provided | |||
Alright so i was with airtel from 2018 and b4 that too i had a few numbers with airtel. Recently in start of august i went to airtel shop (Vasai west) to get a new postpaid sim card. I was assisting in getting the sim card from a rep named sunil. He the advised me to change the circle of my sim from thane or something to mumbai or maharashtra which would be better as vasai branch will be able to help me if anything goes wrong. The first question i asked him was if my services will get stopped and he told me it will for 4 hours but it will happen sometime between 11 pm to 4 am and i agreed. I specifically asked him if the data rolled over from all the last savings will be rolled over or not to which he said as i am only changing the circle the data will be rolled over. As i requested port i was called by an airtel rep to retain me, i specifically asked him too if the data will be rolled over and he said yes sir as you are only changing circle the data will be rolled over to which i was convinced. Now there were a few problems changing the sim and i was ok with it as mistakes happen. Finally when the sim was activated on 11nth of august i had 10 gb data and i waited for the other data to come back as the sim was just activated. I called airtel on 13 of august asking them about the same airtel reps declined that they cant do anything about it. I am a corporate sim holder who pays his bills every month on time. I have paid for the data saved all over these months. The data was more than 70 gb. I escalated to a supervisor and he told me he cant do anything and that he can raise a complain as i was given a wrong information. He told me i will get a callback in 24 hours. I have not recieved a call till date. Yesterday i called airtel again to which they again declined but the supervisor raised a complaint again. I have paid for the data and i should be either given the data or compensated towards it. The store manager in vasai was aware about the whole sim situation and she did not even say anything when sunil told me the data will be rolled over. I want to know whats wrong with airtel? I have 4 numbers with you guys and you cant respect me enough when i have paid my bills on time?.
