Have subscribed to airtel secure and raised a claim for accidental damage. There was no screen breakage but the tower reception was frequently disconnecting and battery not charging. When claimed they said that for software related there is no claim and after multiple claims made them realise that it was internal hardware. They said they will check and allocate for pickup and then oneassist people called me to say that the claim is not valid and falls on cooling period and closed my claim.
I have made a call to customer care on the last day of cooling period to inquire what all covered in claim and the process to claim, but to my bad luck he raised a claim and i wasn't aware. When i raised a claim they said rejected and falls on cooling period which i havent raised.
Multiple people spoke and apologised that it was an error from their end and will allocate person to pickup but later called and convinced me that i raised a claim. To support my case have shared the screenshot of timestamp of calls aswell but no use. I wish i have recorded the conversations when they admitted and apologised.
Been 2 months already, spoke to 11 different people and wasted hours of time to make them understand the case and they close it saying they cant do anything further, as they aren't authoritative.
Been associated with airtel for nearly 11 years, have subscribed to this on the trust i had in them for years and also suggested my friends to do so. I deeply regret that now. This impotent kind of service was not expected from a brand which retained our trust since teen.
