Airtel — regarding overdue bill payment for disconnect broadband connection

Hi Team,

I am sending this mail with a lot of frustration and loss of confidence on the most reputed telecom operator in India.

I have raised a broadband disconnection[protected] request on April 19 and also paid that months bill.. and cleared off the dues for disconnection.. even if there was a bill i was hoping to get a partial amount only for those 9 days...

But I was constantly getting calls from your team (i don't know if that's called customer-retention team). And they told i can keep using this connection for some more time and with no cost, for which I promptly told I DO NOT NEED, but they didn't hear my words..

I don't know what happened in the next month, but the bill was generated again for which I called customer care many times and clearly told that i cannot pay because I already paid the bill in April after i raised disconnection request.

And on the month of May&June i got few calls and in that too, i told i won't pay and they told they will clear off.. There was no explanation in any call on how and why the bill got generated..

Now i got a call saying they would send legal notice if i won't pay due..

This is truly a disheartening, disappointing and annoying experience. This looks to be an intimidating call from a reputed firm to a common man, who was a loyal customer for more than 6 years.

Please go thru the attachments and take necessary action to close this.. Hoping that airtel can be a customer friendly company for one last time at least to me, and win this customer back for any of my future requirements..

Let me know if i have to forward this to some other department for speedy and necessary action..
