Airtel — Relentless harassment by Bharti Airtel Ltd.team

With due respect and deep regret I would like to inform you that Bharti Airtel Ltd. Is harassing it's customer (ID [protected]) in regards to billing issue over the phone without giving detail information of the customer billing details and charges.And the worst part on the company behalf is that, I am the customer of Airtel since 2014 and they deactivated my services on billing issues.



The story began soon after the lockdown started in March 2020 when I received a unprecedented sms of my bill due amount which was hiked as per my billing plan and discount without giving me proper information in black & white or on mails.Also they stopped sending me the paper bill which I opted and was getting regularly before due date.

I immediately reacted to the message received of my monthly hiked bill & wrote mails (6 in number)to the customer support/esupport and to various other departments of airtel stating clearly that I am not willing to accept any changes in my monthly rental, so either you give me my designated fix amount plan (which was Rs 470fixed) or disconnect my services after this hence, after this I won't be liable for any further extra amount exceeding more than Rs 470monthly.But nobody dare and took responsibility to reply for my action and I kept on paying them my fixed Rs 470(plan given to me since 2018)before due date of every month and Airtel kept accumulating monthly hike charges with late fees and sum to Rs.2000approx till October 9, 2020.

On October 8th 2020 my services from Airtel was barred and I kept on receiving threatening calls to pay the said amount(Rs 2000approx) from 3rd party collection team hence insulting the modesty of the customer under section 509 of IPC .

I wrote several mails to nodal team, Social media of Airtel and Mr Gopal Vittal, e support, 121 customer care but all in vain.

Till date I have been getting a harassing calls from Airtel team.Also as per trai guidelines if customer has submitted written request to disconnect the services then post 7 days from the date of request, the provider cannot charge from the customer.

I kindly urge you to take a right action against my mental and social harassment with solution to settle my account and services.

I also urge my all time favorite Janta TV to support and highlight my matter as I have a complete faith in my social media and jurisdiction system.
