My mob. no is [protected], I recently submitted application to convert prepaid to postpaid on 6th-Jan.
By 13th-Jan I did successful verification of address and card should have been up and running with postpaid service thereafter, but instead of that Airtel blocked my prepaid and postpaid service altogether. In-fact i am not able to receive any signal on my cellphone. I did couple of restarts sim inserts/removals but nothing helped. After talking to ARC I came to know that this is a technical issue ! on Airtel side, seriously ?. and on top of that I got response from ARC that since system is down the technical issue can not be resolved. Nothing could be pathetic than this, a major service provider in India cries for system-down. I know its a lame excuse to hide inefficiency of system but almost week of blocked service totally puts big question mark on customer-care service and technical reliability of Airtel network.
One thing I am thinking of doing is port my number to better service provider. If Airtel feels like its worth to retain customer who has been on same network for past 6 years, do respond immediately.
